Bob the Builder

Creating patterns needs a way to construct complex objectives to represent various things. Bob the builder and his team in Season 1 Episode 1 created a Spring City Skyscraper. The theme song lyrics “Can we fix it? Bob the Builder. Yes we can!” emphasize the need for a collaborative work ethic in creating larger or smaller projects.

Design Patterns

Being able to present important life lessons to children at an early stage creates a type of process that allows children to focus on the design thinking process. Design patterns are everywhere looking at something in a creative way such as object programming and learning the structural compositions and behaviors that a program does.

Creative patterns could be a Calendar used in Java. A structural pattern in coding could be a coffee shop menu and a customer may want a coffee with cream, milk, and sugar. You can use subclasses to describe the drink, what type it is, and the add-ons. A coder must be object-oriented. They must quickly adapt to each environment they face whether it’s a different programming language or software. A behavioral pattern would be how classes interact with each other like a restaurant. The order is the command that is invoked by the waiter and is handed over to the receiver (chef).

My Creative Process

An example of using a design pattern in my code is the Flatmate Finder where the object was to use a reactive website to create a Meteor reactive application which allows an interaction collection to collect data for users to find their perfect roommate.

Design patterns help understand software engineering more in-depth, and implementing design patterns are outstanding ways to further progress as a software engineer staying up-to-date and communicating effectively for the public.
